If your door is not functioning as it should, here are a few how-to videos that address the most common and easy to fix issues.

Spotting Header Problems

If you find that your panels are extremely difficult to slide, open/close, extreme force is necessary to slide/open the panels, when trying to close it panel(s) hit on the tracks. The header of the opening may have dropped.

Panoramic Doors system requires an even ¼” gap between the panels and along the entire length of the track; for the proper sliding and opening of your panels.

A quick inspection: With the panels closed and looking from the outside (for outswing applications) please spot the gap next to the jambs (red/pink circle in the picture). If in the middle of the opening, the top track is touching the panels, your header is dropping. For inswing applications perform the inspection looking from the inside.

This is a structural issue that your contractor/engineer should address. The header must be sufficiently strong to span the opening and support the weight above.

If you are having difficulty getting your locking mechanism to engage after shutting your swing door, there is a possibility that the receiver blocks on the adjacent sliding panel are out of alignment. This video will show you how to diagnose the issue and what to do to fix it.

If you have watched our “How-To” videos (located above) and have read our troubleshooting guide and are still not able to find a solution to your issue, please submit a service request form.

Be advised that any service visits for items not covered by our limited warranty will incur a site-visit charge.

For your guidance these are some of the items not covered by our Manufacturer Warranty:

  • Maintenance items
  • Damages reported after installation
  • Installation related items
  • Construction-related items such as waterproofing or finishing of the opening
  • Intentional or accidental damage caused by acts of nature, fire, break-in, improper installation, improper operation of the system, abuse, neglect, etc.

Please submit a service request form if:

  • Your doors won’t lock or unlock
  • The glass Low-E has a purple tint or haze
  • You need to replace operational hardware
  • You need to replace cladding
  • You need to replace panels
